Anyone here ride the Scott Foil Team Edition 2013? I'm considering one to replace a written off bike.
I'm also considering Cervelo R5 VWD, Giant TCR Advanced SL1 (mechanical Dura Ace 11 speed) or Storck Fenomalist with the same Dura Ace mechanical package. The Giant is a known quantity. The Storck is looking very tempting - but I've got no idea on Scott, never ever ridden one. I'm just fishing around to check if there are any known issues or things to be aware of with those, though from checking around, seems to be fairly good.

Never ridden but stared at one for a reasonable time!!! Good looking bike, which is half the quantum when buying a new one IMO. There's one to ride in parramatta if you're near....

I think I know the shop you are talking about. I was there yesterday. All options are in the air at the moment while I battle with the insurance company.
I did look at the Giant and it is extremely good, it's very, very light even with its standard components. Giant Propel I've ruled out.
Scott Foil 10 is another one on the list.
Edit: Done - I've ordered a TCR Adv. SL1. Giant were very helpful this time around.

This may not be much help, as I haven't ridden one myself, but a friend of mine rode Scotts for a long time and really loved them. I'm sure he would recommend going with the Foil. That said, I'm a Giant fan myself, so I always push for that (though the R5 is a gorgeous machine, too). But as far as I'm aware, you won't be disappointed with the Foil!

Storck cause it looks super hot and different, too many Giants around....Had a Scott Foil for just over a year, stiff and fast rides very nicely.
