DA9000

hi, i recently got a new bike with da 9000. i'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to mechanicals but i'm starting to do a few things myself.

anyway i want to move the shifters back about .5 - 1cm on the handlebars....obviously i'll need to remove the bar tape, and electrical tape, but just wondering whether i need to adjust the cable lengths at all or will there simply be more 'loop' from when the cable comes out from under the bar tap to when it goes into the headtube (it has internally routing)?

thanks in advance.

You'll be fine - just a bit more loop.
