shimano carbon composite pedals

Postby warthog1 » Tue May 10, 2016 3:41 pm

They are a smidgeon lighter than the old discontinued metal bodied pedals they replace.
My concern is that the material is softer and may wear at the point where the nose of the cleat hooks in.
Is this the case?

I haven't seen any issues with it. The cleats being plastic means there's very little abrasion going on there.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
