Seems to be a very old groupset, I would go for campagnolo veloce if you wanted a cheap campagnolo groupset.

There is nothing wrong with Mirage. In good condition for $10 it's a bargain.

For $10, hard to pass up. Mirage was the base model for yonks, but reasonable stuff. Are they the poly (plastic) levers?

Remember, Campagnolo (of comparative speed groups) is all interchangeable. So 10-speed Mirage will control 10-speed Chorus parts should you feel the need to upgrade certain components :D

Hard to tell from your pic - is that an Ultra Torque crankset? It can't be too old if it is...excellent buying.

I had a couple of problems over a few years of commuting on mirage brifters.

#1 - (rear shifter) cog wore down its teeth and I had to replace the whole shifter mechanism.
#2 - busted a couple of the plastic shift paddles.

Ended up replacing the brifters with second hand 10sp (chorus?) with Al paddles and the old mech. Much happier. I can service them (G springs etc) and they're bulletproof.
