Campy Shamal HPW12

Recently saw a pair of Shamal Vintage HPW12, they are 12 spokes front and rear.

The rear has been modifiled to Single Speed with a 24 Hole hub but laced with 12 spokes.

My question is Should i get them? i mean they are nice and stuff but they are so old and probably not good for daily commuting.

So i can only use them on tracks?

I asked this because im still thinking if i should build a set of wheels up or just buy some used ones on the internet.
