Just joined the Fuji family
Postby you cannot be sirrus » Sat Aug 22, 2015 12:15 pm
Picked up yesterday and ridden home about 20kms so too early to review but it felt so light and responsive. Altamira 1.3 Dura Ace 9000 7.58kgs on my scales with the standard wheels, should be a bit less with my race wheels on. Looking forward to a long and happy life together

I've been riding my 2014 Altamira for a while now. Very nice bike.
I had the chance to ride an expensive 2015 Disc Tarmac Pro on holidays... It was a nice balanced bike, amazing shifting, but i didn't like the small perky hoods (shimano R685), and didn't quite have the zoom and great descending of my Fuji.
The main issue i have with the Altamira though it's it's stiff rear end. It's great for power transmission, but mowing along at high speed, bigger bumps send the rear wheel well into the air... Not the most effecient or comfortable ride, and i generally only ride 80/90 psi in my 25mm GP4000s.
