Excuse my ignorance - what is the deal with the Waltly disk caliper mounts being 90 degrees to the OP? Is this an hydraulic caliper mount? If so, I'm guessing you can use an adapter plate to mount a mechanical disk brake caliper? Which format is better on a 'do it all' frame?

Great bike Crawf - can you please give us an update? What are you happy with / what would you change given the chance?

Cheers,
Jon.

Ignore that, I educated myself about post mount vs IS mount.

This is an interesting one from Moots using inserts:

Well....I done did it...pulled the trigger today.
Jenny, at Waltly gave me great service and won my heart.
So.... I've got a couple months to figure out what components in going to need for my new (soon to be) Ti cyclocross frame and fork.
One of my biggest quandaries is if I want a triple crankset or not, next is which disk wheelsets to get.
Of course any suggestions welcome.

Ordered mine from porter, I am scared now as I have instructed them for slight geometry change.

Crawford, do you have a side view photo, just want to see the top tube, thanks.

Rheicel, what's that horrible blackness on the LH crankarm?
Please don't tell me it's a cadence magnet...

Standing by with an unobtrusive rare earth magnet should a transplant be necessary

You're a good man Bruce.

I'm very disappointed that cadence magnets are not mentioned in The Rules

 , it is the horrible wahoo cadence magnet. I ordered those button magnets from eBay and the mailman just lost them. Just waiting for the replacement from China.

Holy thread resurrection Batman...FYI, Crawf's frame re-invented...
(see end of Bike Gallery).

And I can confirm its a sweet ride. Just as Crawf intended it to be. Easily the smoothest ride of my 5 steads (and that includes the Bianchi Infinito CV which I thought was smooth!). Mission Accomplished mate! [emoji3]

I've got another in the works Rodney, I've come full circle again and will retire the Crabon roadie to racing duties only. The lure of Ti was too much.
