He loves it. Just check your forks as his disbonded where the alloy ends go into the carbon. They were quick to replace them though.

Cheers bud. Was this when he first got the bike or after some riding?

It was after about 2400kms.

Marin were not sure if it was cracked or just the way it was finished from the factory but they replaced it anyway.

Colnago 2010 World Cup

Bought used - changes from stock are the Ultegra compact cranks and Ceramic BB, stem and SLR saddle. Photo taken shortly after picking it up. Still to drop spacers and fine tune the fit.

I had a look at one of them on weekend, very nice!

I bought myself a Colnago World Cup 2.0. I can't work out how to post pics of it though

It's actually my road bike (I designed it with road-biased geometry, and it usually wears skinny tyres and grinds out tarmac miles), but this kind of "road" was definitely on the radar when putting it together.

It's a bit different to the bike I actually race CX on (albeit infrequently)... which has a day job as my single-speed commuter. Don't want to futz up an expensive geared drivetrain with this stuff:

Here is my "CX' bike - almost finished. Its mostly made out of spare parts. Had to buy long reach brakes, a new front wheel, cheap 2nd hand tyres, and the threadless stem+adapter (didnt have to do this but wanted to). An old hi-ten frame i did a 30sec paint job on with fluro line marking paint from work. Need to keep rummaging for toe cages/straps, rear brake inner cable, and some tubes cos these damn puncture repairs will not hold at all. built a)for the occasional gravel ride b) the daily riding I plan to do through some tracks in the salt lakes below, and c) because i had so many extra fixie bits and pieces lying around

If only that was the only improvement I could make :(.

Actually, the photo is quite old (Dec 2011) and I cannot remember. They were whatever came with the bike. All I remember about them is how quickly they wore on tarmac.

I have some Schwalbe CX Pros waiting for an excuse/time to put them on.

Not many pics going on in here, here's mine after nearly a year of use.

Since I bought it I've changed the seat, chain (craptacular chain came with it), rear derailler and cassette (11-36) as well as the small chainring to a 34t. The bikes not bad though it is a tad heavy at 25 pounds, bar tape is crap and needs replacing already, it came with a Sora BB, I have a Dura Ace one ready to roll. Still trying to work out the best way of stopping the chain chewing up the chainstay, there isn't a lot of space underneath the gear cable and the Lezyne one I just put on is a tad big and thick, even though it touches the gear cable it doesn't seem to effect the shifting.

Is that 10sp XT? I am thinking of doing the same thing but heard it doesn't work.

Here is my rig recently built with my hubby's help. I like it so much that I am thinking of just swapping out wheels when I need to ride road thereby going N-1 ie selling the roadie...
And yes the front is too high (being conservative with position while my knee heals) and the cable outer is a different color front and back...
