So, who's racing out at Essendon on Sunday? I've thrown my hat in the ring; probably in C/open but will see where the handicappers put me. Should be a blast!

Would love to support these races, but unfortunately I haven't been back on the bike long enough since I broke my collarbone...
Have a great race!

Well, you have a few weeks to train up for round 3... just don't crash
More than happy with 4th place in C, given I started at the back of the pack just hoping to make it through without crashing. Some tips from one of the Essendon guys had me nailing the sandpit each lap - made up a couple of spots there. Great fun despite the insane wind - can't wait for the next one!

Well done!
I had planned to race the NRS series even having booked my flight to Adelaide for the Nationals. Now will pass on CX this season with track season already starting in a few weeks. Will try and stay out of trouble (broke the collarbone racing on the boards), get fit again and build for the CX season next Winter.
You obviously haven't seen my skills or lack thereof...m@ wrote:Well, you have a few weeks to train up for round 3... just don't crash

One race left guys. Date has been changed though. 26 Oct I think. Definitely worth getting out there. Super fun course. Probably don't bring your fancy carbon tubulars though. There's a fair bit of 'bitey' gravel that likes to cause punctures.

Can't make the new date due to the Mont unfortunately... shame, would've liked to give B grade a crack. Ah well, next year...

They seem to be only updating facebook. I'm still waiting for a way to buy a 3 race permit.
