Thinking of putting together something a little quicker than my 29er for longer rides but not comfortable with road bikes yet so I was thinking of building a cyclocross style bike from a hybrid .
Came across this Reid Urban X2 http://www.reidcycles.com.au/urban-x2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .
What do you think of drop bars and STI levers on that . Might need to change the tektro calipers for BB7s . I have a drop bar and stem that should do the job ,would just need to buy different calipers if the pull is not suitable for the levers .
Or should I wait and save up for a Giant Revolt or similar ?.
