Finally have an account setup.

The Gen3 looks interesting but it's a bit expensive by the time you pay for this device and the ongoing annual fees. Still looks like a great little unit, in particular this latest version just released.

I'm considering, something similar to monitor my Bike, while I'm out and about, therefore if someone so happens to manage to pass my Kryponite Lock on my bike and rides off, I'll be allerted to this on my mobile phone and able to track my bike.

I'm looking at something like this.

He said what I said - you just can't beat it for a traveller's aid. I've been using mine for a month now and I'm delighted with it. As I write it is charging two iPads, an iPhone, a Magellan Cyclo and a Shimano Sports Cam. No sweat.

I assume that Andrew got his from King Power Accessories, same as I did.

Yes same place. I am thinking of getting a second one to leave at the office. Having the cameras on the bike and GPS to charge when I commute I see it as been an ideal solution.

HK, which is probably UK anyway. But the cords are common and I had a bunch of them already.

The Anker Astro E5 15000 mAh looks like a reasonable compromise for me ... 10,500 to 12,000 mAh in reality which isn't to bad, two USB outputs at 1 amp and 2 amp and USB charging at 1.5 amp if going just for a battery.

Anyone know what cells are used in that Anker? eg. Japanese, Chinese, manufacturer.
That seller says he sells Japanese products but the Anker website I can't find that information.
With a 5V / 1.5A micro USB input, then ewerk with 5V 500mA output would be too slow to recharge? This would require a solar panel for off grid recharge?

This looks very interesting - the Falco Fusion Sports Electric Wheel Offers Seamless Power and Cardio-Control with Biometrics Feedback.

Well, I dunno about cardio-control, but what I do like is that it's for a rear wheel and is both cassette and disc brake compatible.
