Moulton Landrover APB
Re: Chris King Cielo Overlander BicycleAt least they're honest, unlike the "lifetime" warranty supposedly on offer from Cannondale.

Re: Chris King Cielo Overlander Bicycle$1995 for frame, fork and headset. Can't find what it is made of. By a seatpost of 27.2 and the seat tube diameter of 31.8mm, it must be Al.
I like the geometry of keeping a 73 degree STA for the smaller frames. Interesting that they have gone for a tapered headset, yet avoided the press fit BB. Says something to me at least and CK would know more about these things than most. Although the Cross Racer has PF30, but the Cross Racer disc has "68 english thread". Strange...
Re: Chris King Cielo Overlander BicycleI'd say it's steel given the direction on the website for caring for the frame. They list various suggested annual applications such as Boeshield, JP Weigle or boiled linseed oil for the inside of the tubes. Typical treatment recommended for steel to avoid rust.
Re: Chris King Cielo Overlander BicycleTrue, but it must be pretty thick steel then since both my Avanti Al frames have those same dimensions.
Re: Chris King Cielo Overlander Bicycle
The clue is that it uses Paragon Machine Works stainless rocker dropouts. Cycle touring blog and tour journals: whispering wheels...
