Surly Nice Rack, front and in black. The same seller has some Avid BB7 disc brakes that no one has bid on and a Nitto Campee front rack that would look great on one of my LHT's. You have 57 hours left to consider these.
Another seller has the Tubus Logo rear and Duo lowrider front racks. Again, check what else the seller has, this one has bike tools and a Topeak Modula cage.
All good for any project bikes.

The Avid brakes are mountain bike type.just4tehhalibut wrote:The same seller has some Avid BB7 disc brakes that no one has bid on
I've been wanting to fit a set of BB7's on my Vivente World Randonnuer.
What is the difference between BB7 Mountain and BB7 Road types?

Anyone considering this listing should note that this seller is not actually selling the brakes, just some mounts and levers ... as to your question Tim ... colour, weight (robustness?), lighter rotor on the road version and compatibility with road levers (road version) seems to be the difference.Tim wrote:The Avid brakes are mountain bike type.just4tehhalibut wrote:The same seller has some Avid BB7 disc brakes that no one has bid on

I just learnt on another thread the cable pull ratio is different.
I won't be buying them.

That bent looks comfortable enough to just sit and wait out any headwind - its only missing a armrest with popcorn holder - I like it.

As for bent riders who want to tour:

Course I imagine you'll need deep reduction gears to get you up any hills..........

It includes such much needed features like Front and Rear Quick Response Brakes, a 60 CD deluxe storage box, tinted windscreen, sun canopy, lockable box out back, radio (hopefully also a CD player) and much more. So far the price is a tenth of that overblown Ortlieb wagon pictured above.

Based on the photos, yes but I would be asking for the serial number/checking with the local Police to ensure it was not stolen.TailWalker wrote:Do people think this is a good deal? NOt really sure what a 2nd hand LHT is worth.

Koga Miyata Traveller $1395 in Ballina. Looks similar to the model noted a few posts above, Tubus racks, same bidons, dyanmo headlight built into the front mudguard but this bike is immaculate. Love the bar grips and AXA frame lock.
And just down the road an extremely cheap Surly Big Dummy cargo bike, $950 in Bellingen. A few good upgrades as well, only catch is that the frame is 22" and he's racked up the seat and Jones bar heights.
If you're in the Goldfields and a ducks bum then this $1200 Vivente World Randanneur in XS could suit you.
And for something a little different an Airnimal Chameleon folder for $890 in Beecroft. These folders use 24" wheels (520mm) and feel like a road racer, lightweight and with great acceleration. They take racks and can be used on tour or commute (as I did) but have also been raced in the Hawaiian Ironman. Nifty. Only hassle is that the sole provider here was Flying Furniture so you'll need to look into a new source for those narrow 24" tyres. Looks like got those Velocity wheel upgrades from Ian. Extra niftyness.
Tis the season to be N+1?
