Good price for Rohloff Oil Change kits

Generally I would trust his opinions on such matters greatly (though sometimes he can take the pi$$ horribly ). He has a science and engineering background, has built his own bikes (at least two) and his own pannier racks, and has been running a Rohloff hub since about 1995. Not sure exactly how long (time/kilometres) he has used Mobil1 for lube.

I have bought the Rohloff lube and cleaning oil kit comprising two 250ml bottles - much more economical.

Nothing wrong with a SA hub either, for the suited uses. They have their uses, just they are not very wide range and not well-suited to long distance heavy-loaded touring,
