Front rack on a Muru fat bike

G'day everyone

I'm wanting to put front racks on my Muru overlander fat bike with Swale fork. The fork is titanium with 135mm Hub and a 10mm axle. Unfortunately it doesn't have rack mounts. The 2 racks I think I can fit are the OMM front fat Sherpa and the Blackburn fat rack, but unfortunately the rack doesn't have any fork mounts and the current axle doesn't fit any racks. Does anyone have any ideas of how to approach this? Should I attach with 4 "p clamps" (2either side)? Or can I somehow bodgy up the axle?

Thanks Marty

Why not just go with Anything cages as designed?

A pair of Anything bags from Bike Bag Dude will swallow a surprising amount of gear.

With Ron on this but also understand that sometimes the need for deck space is real, so maybe look at a blackburn fat front rack with the option of doing axle quick release mounting. I cant say I like these qr options and would prefer P clip as they just sheer off and you just grab another from the your cache of spare parts or pick something up in a the far flung local hardware shop.
FWIW I have started running a very light rear rack as found shopping with frame and set bags is pretty hard as you run out of bulk. Work in progress as the top deck to strap stuff on and hang off plus a courier bag seems to work but not as well as the black hole you have with large rear panniers.

An alternative to P clips are T-bolt clamps .. I think they are stronger, available in various sizes like the P clamps. On ebay ..

I think you need to be cautious about clamping anything to titanium fork legs.

Thanks for all the replies, I was a little concerned about clamping to the titanium forks as you said Ronk, but am wanting to carry a bit more volume than I can in anything cages, hence wanting panniers and a rack. Weight wise I was going to limit to 5kg each side.

I've had a look at the Blackburn rack, but unsure if I can attach it to my axles as they are 10mm
