(PER) SRAM RED GXP 2001 LEFT CRANK ARM

Postby kkillerjonny » Thu May 23, 2013 9:47 am

Not a big long sob story here but yesterday had my bottom bracket changed from external bearings to true BB30 & had sram red GXP 2011 175MM cranks installed, but the mechanic neglected to tighten the pedals when he reattached them. I'm livid and was nearly killed on my morning commute as the pedal disengaged & threw me off in heavy traffic.

The thread has been stripped & I'd love to replace it, I know this is a long shot. Even if I could get a 172.5MM left hand crank (but prefer the 175MM) I'd be happy.
Can anyone help? If so let me know your price.

Thank you
Jon

I think I have a spare 175mm crank at home (swapped to 172.5). Will check tonight and post here.

Sorry to hear your story, it's upsetting when you trust someone to do a job and they don't do it properly!

Silly Question, but shouldn't the Mechanic be replacing it ?
