[BNE] Shimano 105 9Spd Right Crank Arm FC-5502

Postby plasmapuff » Sun Sep 15, 2013 4:35 pm

Hey all,

Kinda a long shot I know, but I'm after a Shimano 105 9Spd Right Crank Arm FC-5502.

A bit embarrassing but I somehow didn't align my pedal bolt correctly and its completely stripped the hole in the crank arm where the pedal attaches :(

Don't really mind the colour, used/new. Happy to buy as a set with the left crank arm as well if the price is right.

cheers, hopefully someone can help out. Not yet ready to upgrade from my trusty 105 9spd yet. :P

Also happy for 9 speed Octalink cranks of any variety - Ultegra, Tiagra, Sora.

Let me know :)

Bad timing mate, I donated a right 105 crank to the hobart bike kitchen last week. I'll see if it's still there next time I go past, but that probably won't be for another week or so.

The depth of the octalink interface is different on Sora and Tiagra. It would need to be 105 or Ultegra. You could try a helicoil, roughly a $10 part and $15 in labour and most good bike stores will have them.

Thanks for the feedback re: tiagra :)

Huge props to LG for coming up with one all the way from Tasmania! Installed it last week and am back on the road!
