SYD Tektro R559

Postby find_bruce » Wed Apr 09, 2014 9:58 am

I am looking for a pair of silver Tektro long reach calipers R559 or 556 (53-73mm). I have a pair of Tiagra BR 450 brakes (thanks Shaun), which are 47-57mm. I could make them fit, but I would prefer just a little bit more reach.

Thanks

Bruce

Used or new?

I got a new pair from CRC for about $80 delivered.

Thanks Strawburger, I had seen CRC, plus fleabay has em new for $65 inc postage. Not to fussed whether they are new or used - my only real preference is for silver nutted.

Thought I would check if anyone had some surplus to requirements before I bought new

Sorry the 450s didn't suit Bruce.
You could check out Velogear for the really long reach units.

No sweat Mulger bill - I think the 450s will still work if I stay with 27 x 1 1/4 wheels & CRC currently have gumwalls for $15 - just trying to sort through the options
