Ridley Bikes now with FE Sports

Postby AUbicycles » Tue Jun 28, 2016 1:36 pm

Ridley Bikes have now moved distribution from FRF (NSW) to FE Sports (Qld). One feature they are promoting is the custom painting service. The press release suggests that FE Sports look after the custom paining option though doesn't clearly describe where this step is complete (i.e. Belgium factory or Australia).

FE Sports recently acquired Paint My Bike, and these guys will do the custom painted Ridley frames. Some frames will be brought in painted from the factory, but a large number will be blanks. Customers will have the option of either working to the factory patterns but choosing their colour scheme, or going full custom. Once painted the bikes will be assembles & shipped to the dealers.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Thanks for filling in the gaps - custom painted bikes are pretty special.
