agree
installed Garmin Connect 1.1 a few hours ago and bluetooth appears to be behaving very well.
for anyone who wants to upload activities automatically to Strava via bluetooth, this explains how

though the lag appears more like half to a full hour rather than a few minutes as this article suggests.
don't know if the 500 had it, but one of my favorite 510 features is the security leash!!!
I've seen a mate's 500 fall off when he went over really rough road.
I'd hazard a guess it'd successfully hinder the head unit from being flogged by a thieving passer by.
after a few more days operation, all sensors appear to be stably monitored. GPS is picked up quick.
the thing I want to muck around with is having the backlight off. I've had it on a low setting since the first day as having it off was too dark.
then I'd like to explore battery range systematically....and check Calorie expenditure accuracy. The 500's estimates were total fantasy. The 800s were pretty accurate imv.
i've run it simultaneously with android strava app, bontrager Node 1.1, and all devices agree well re speed distance.
