Just got a new 810 and I have one issue where on the exact same spot on my commute the unit just turns off. Never happened in any other location.
I couldn't understand losing GPS connection in the exact same spot but I don't understand how the location could turn the entire unit off.
Anyone experienced similar?

Are you running the latest firmware?
If yes then I suggest posting the question in the Garmin 810 forums: https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?362-Edge-810" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Finally got around to upgrading the firmware but the issue still happens. It's so strange that it only turns off at this one location, but it happens every single time, and never anywhere else.
I'll post in the Garmin Forums.

Spooky!! Cant be a location thing, must be time related. Tried commuting a different route? What happens on the return journey?

Yes there is minor detour I can take which prevents it turning off. On the way home, it has only turned off in that spot once. It is definitely location related. It is quite annoying as I have to stop to get a GPS fix otherwise it won't lock on again for a km or 2.
