I have 1 Garmin Edge 500 which I have registed and have access to myGarmin and Garmin Connect.
But I have purchased another Garmin from a member here and need to register it. I need to register it through Garmin Express and I can download G.E. but cannot install it. I've sent 2 e mails to 'Help' and I have spoken on the phone but they are no help. I have reinstalled Microsoft. NET Framework which apparently has a problem with Garmin.
Why do I need to download 3 separate programs to register one of these devices?
Any clues on installing Garmin Express? A search online reveals numerous computer 'experts' who only charge $49US to help you install the program, so there must be an answer! After you purchase the Garmin, why do they make it so hard?

You don't need to register the device though. Garmin Express is the only piece of software required. That said, on my Windows 8.1 Device it is troublesome and keeps asking me to install software that is already on my Edge 500. On my Mac at home it is fine.

Ok then.
Please tell me that others are having problems with the uploading from Garmin. My 510 just shut off (charge was 81%) 58 klm into my 65 klm ride this morning (delaying my attempt to get my Eddington No passed 40!!! [emoji1]) and it won't upload to connect via Bluetooth or directly into the Mac citing it cannot connect to server?
Any ideas?
