Tubus racks?

Hi, does anyone know of anywhere you can buy Tubus racks in Australia? Online would be OK, but even better would be a bike shop in NSW that stocks them.

A Tubus Fly rear rack looks ideal for what I want it for (hanging moderate commuting loads on a road bike) but as often seems to be the case with interesting bike equipment it's readily available in Europe and the US but very hard to find in Australia. The only shop I've found that does sell them is St Kilda Cycles in Melbourne, but they don't seem to do mail order and it's a long way to go to buy bike bits for me.

I think, like most of that sort of stuff, Cheeky Monkey in Newtown sells them. I've never actually been to their store, but from their website it sounds good. ;)

Aha! I think you might be right there, thanks :) Now that you mention them I think their old webpage listed Tubus as one of the brands they stocked, but they've taken that part away now as it's in the process of being replaced with their (currently very incomplete) online shop listings. Probably worth a visit, they had a good selection of bits and pieces before their move to Newtown and I gather the bigger shop has enabled them to improve it further. Plus while I'm there I can dream about being able to afford a Cheeky Monkey built Surly Crosscheck with Rohloff

Now I just need to find someone selling the new style of Knog Pod Panniers...

I have a Tubus Tara front rack. I rang St Kilda Cycles and they freighted it over to Perth for me.

They import a lot of Tubus stuff and other exotic parts.
