I'm currently running Sunrims Rhyno Lites (32 spokes) on my Giant XTC3 (The bike came fitted with them when new). Over the last few months I have upgraded my whole drive train to Shimano XT level and I'm now looking at upgrading the wheels. I've done 13,000 Km on them.
My question is, what is the pecking order so to speak for quality and durability in MTB rims. I use the bike for touring and commuting so it gets worked constantly.
Yes, I probably should be looking at getting a new bike but I just love this bike and that in turn motivates me to ride.
Any advise on rims to look for, or to avoid, would be appreciated.

Mate,
I have Mavic A719 (I think) on mine.
Double wall 36 spoke. absolutely bullet proof.
My other bike has DT swiss double walls which are equally solid.
Reckon as long as you stay with the big known brands you should be sweet.
