Attaching stuff to frame tubes

Stuff like a bracket for a D-lock, or a mini pump.

I've got an Avanti Blade Sport (click for picture). I find with my bottle cage on the down tube, there's no room to fit a d-lock on the seat post tube inside the frame, it'll only fit if I have it angled so that the lock sits between the crank and the frame. Which I don't do, since i'll not risk it jolting out of position, and catching my pedalling. Could be nasty.

I can't hang it from the top tube, since with the new-fangled thick tube (i.e., it's large and triangular in shape, not a simple old-fashioned round diameter), the bracket won't fit around it.

So basically after all that ramble, my question is this: How/Where do I attach the bracket for my lock (and other stuff) ?!

Shift the bottle cage elsewhere. I use radiator hose clamps to hold water bottle cages on other parts of the frame.

I've done this too, I put inner tube rubber inside the hose cliips

you can try getting a seat post carrier (don't know what they're called), which allows you to attach two more bidons, pump and tool kit. It might even have enough space for your lock as well.

I use one when I go on those really long rides (see picture with additional bidons and lights attached)
