Need some advice

Hey guys i need some advice, the cousin is planning on buying a second hand bike this weekend , its a Fuji 2002 model with a full set of campag daytona (centaur) gear.

I'm going along to run an eye over the bike. What would be signs of excessive wear that i should i be looking for in the running gear and the frame? the buyer claims the bike has done between 4000/5000k klm.

Spin, twist, pull and click everything you can find, grab each derailleur and give it a bit of a tug to feel for wear. Look for any frame damage or road rash on components, lift the front wheel and turn the bars, checking for smoothnes and lack of binding. Spin each wheel looking for lack of true, eyeball the pads and check the brakes. Test ride, checking shifting and braking, listen for unusual noises. Phew...

I'm sure Sheldon Brown's got lots more too.
