Howdy,
I'm finding it hard to reach the brake levers from the dropbar. Is it possible to readjust the shifters so that it's easier for my fingers to grab them, or do I need to buy short reach levers designed for women? I noticed Shimano has a model (ST-R600) that's around $350.
I was hoping not to spend that much.

IIRC, many Shamino STI levers have a little plastic lug that can be repositioned to alter the reach. I'd suggest a stumble around Shamino's tech docs area for references to your levers.
D'yer reckon different shaped bars might do the trick cheaper?

Moving them up or down on the bars can help with reach. The shape/design of the bars themselves can effect the reach also. Unless you've got 7900 or 6700 levers, then shimano levers themselves aren't adjustable.

Thanks. I am really hoping I can improve reachability just by tweaking, rather than buying a new part.
I'll try and compare my levers with a friend's (brand new Giant TCR Alliance W with short reach levers) to see what the differences are.

Just in case anyone is in the same situation as me, I managed to get my LBS to reseat the handlebar and shifter, and now I find it much easier to reach the brake levers. So no need to buy the short reach levers (thank goodness!).
