WarbyD wrote:Honest question.. What maintenance is the end user supposed to be doing to prevent broken spokes? I've already had two broken spokes on a bike I purchased in January (not cell), had the wheel rebuilt under warranty after the second one broke, and am interested to know what I could/should be doing to prolong their life. As a clyde I know my wheels take a beating, so anything I can do to make life easier for them is a bonus.
Get a spoke tension gauge and a good spoke wrench and then make sure the spokes stay at a high enough tension by periodically retensioning, then retruing.

Shall do!

Periodically removing tyres and tubes to check for rust and take a look at the rim tape is also a good idea, especially if you ride in the rain - even more so if the wheels are on the cheaper side.

Hi Mark

Any idea on when you will have new stock of your Azure Bib Shorts...I have been talking them up to friends to find you that you only have limited sizes left

Cheers

Any updates mate?
May is only a month away! :D

I didn't realise Cell was doing a cyclocross bike, any more details/specs on it?

Maybe they should just drop SRAM and go with the new Shimano 5800 105 groupset. 11 speed 105 with hydro disc, so dreamy.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god. I'm so keen. Any idea on pricing?

Hi idasfa38,

The forthcoming Brunswick will be competitively priced and offer crazy value against similarly spec'd CX bikes out there.

Got sick of waiting and bought a CX bike just last week :(
Anyway, very happy with what I got.
Will still be keen to see what you've come up with on the CX front.

Hi Mark,

Have you had a look at a filter by available size, for example by selecting 43 and 44 I only see shoes where those sizes are in stock.

Some of your competitors do it, not many. I guess it will depend on what software you are using, it could be easy or could be difficult to do.

Mark

Let me say that your speed of delivery is excellent. Less than 24hrs from ordering to the package arriving. No complaints here just high praise. However, I'm still not receiving the email with the tracking number.

"You will receive the tracking number in an email shortly(listed under the'Labels'column)." This email is never sent.

mikesbytes, funny you should ask! Let's just say that when June comes, it'll be a lot easier to order and find what you want!

Hi bike jk, we are very very close to sorting this out. We have to liaise with other 3rd parties we use for shipping, and once we have all of them working together and optimised in our system, everything will start working as it should.
Apologies to everyone who haven't received their tracking numbers.

Hi bike jk, it's actually a huge part of my day to get this actioned and done.

One of the best things about paying attention in forums is that you get to see what is important to potential and current customers.

By paying attention to what you guys say in here, we have an ear to the ground regarding things that you're happy or unhappy about.

A big part of my day is trying to get the things that keep you from ordering from us, or keep you to continue ordering from us fixed and done.

Just a kudos to Cell for the SS300 (AT) $549.

Have recommended to a few people and they are all very impressed. Don't know how you make money on it, let alone break even.

Hahaha, let's just say, none of us have flash cars, flash clothes and our warehouse is very 'humble'.
The savings gets passed on to you, and we run as lean as possible.

You guys should totally update the website pages dedicated to the Omeo. Make them flasher or something and really help the bike standout and help promote it more via a quality feel.

Loving how you've gone back to displaying prices in your emails advertisements and great you took aboard the suggestion.

Hi everyone! Some announcements to make:
#1 We've launched a newer, better (hopefully) website! Please have a look and let me know your thoughts. http://www.cellbikes.com.au
#2 The long and eagerly awaited Cyclocross bike will be landing in the 1st week in July (yay). It's still called the 'Brunswick' and I personally can't wait to get my hands on one!
#3 We've finally fixed our tracking number issues! If for some reason you still didn't get one, please let me know ( [email protected] )

As always, thanks to this great forum and members for the honest and constructive feedback!
