Most likely a pass on the knicks, they'd have to be damn good.
Jerseys? Not a problem after a good wash and hang.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

There will always be the "eww" factor, but the relative risk is low compared to other human activities that we can participate in.
Those that would not buy used 'shorts'/suits will not buy then. Others will weigh up the risk and make some decision.
Do your best to 'cleanse'/disinfect and offer the sale with appropriate disclosure/warnings/disclaimers of 'own risk'
What have you got to lose.

This fear of preworn shorts is irrational. If I had to wear used bike shorts, I would - but only washed. Fortunately, I don't have to as I have a job and earn a little money.

I'd rather not dip my goodies into an absorbant pad that has been sweated onto/into by a stranger.
