Hi

I need some advice on removing spacers from a head stem. Does it matter if there is a gap of about 1mm between the top of the tube and the stem?

There should be about 3mm of space, as in the picture bellow

I moved the spacer above the handlebars and that seemed to work quite well. If you find you prefer the new position, you can get it cut down permanently and if you don't you can put it back up.
