Best prices in the world, that I know of, for components and excellent online replies for advice on what I needed and what was in stock.
Praise be upon Shiny Bikes.

Spoke too soon. Got back from a ride and it was sitting on the bench The build continues...Mulger bill wrote:Sigh. How long is an acceptable wait for a c r c package? Usually here in a week or better, this one is up to fourteen days and counting. My build has stalled and is just taking up space in the shed

Bought helmet, 5 tubes, chain lube and some water bottles early Friday 5/9. Paid more than elsewhere for the helmet as they had the colour I wanted.
Get shipping confirmation 9/9... Helmet not on the list. So I send them an email asking what's going on with the helmet...
Email comes back a few hours later... Helmets not in stock, not back in stock till mid November.
All well and good, but when were they planning on letting me know? And I mean, 3 full working days to ship is slack.

Yeah I can get it cheaper on Wiggle with their current 25off coupon. But I figured I'd try and support a local business as well as making it easier for myself with RMA if anything were to go wrong.jasonc wrote:am pretty sure you can get it from pbk for that price at the moment (with a discount code)Nhutty wrote:Hi Jimboss, how did you get that bundle for that price?jimboss wrote:Bought a Garmin 500 + Premium HR + Cadence sensor from Highly Tuned Athletes for $299. I definitely paid $299, so did a friend from work. I read on another thread on here that it was a special, so I guess they pulled it.

I remember it was $299 for the premium bundle during this years TDF, only problem was I wasn't in a financial position to buy.
I might email them and see what they say, if they won't do that price I may have to go down the wiggle route

Ordered Continental GP4000s last night approx 10pm - $49.95 + $9.90 post - pretty decent price.
Dropped in at work by one of the staff members today at 3pm.
I work a few kays away but expected them to just drop it in a post bag... score!
