:( My wiggle orders have been good, my first c r c order by myself is still processing. I do have more items to order from c r c but, I'm not doing it until that order is sent. I ordered on the 25th dec...... Looks like I'm ringing them again tomorrow to see how the "investigation" went.

Can I just use a prepaid credit card in aussie dorrahs, or what the go?

Most offer the choice of PP or CC, and obviously with PP you select the currency to pay, tho most places like c r c and Wiggle do the conversion in to AUD anyway so you just pay what they say to pay.

Wiggle sent me an email to inform me that my items have been processed but also says because of the dispatch method used my parcel could not be tracked. Can this be changed by not ticking the box at the end of payment for fast delivery?

Nah, I use the 'immediate dispatch' option too, and I get the same thing. Some things they don't usually track. Even when I used to order from OS for non cycling stuff, smaller items wouldn't get tracked.

According to wiggle only items despatched via citylink can be tracked, which must mean my order was sent through royal mail. See link here http://www.this link is broken/h/option/Delive ... ateddelays

Well ribble just screwed up on me, sent me 3 x conti 28 inner tubes, instead of 3 x conti 28 inner tubes (10 rate) = 30 tubes.

I guess I must have been lucky as I ordered off Wiggle on Mon 4th Jan and received the goods on Monday 11th Jan. I've ordered regularly from them in the past and never had problems. Incidentally the only store I have had issues with is an aussie one where I paid extra to have goods express posted and they chose to post the goods 4 days later giving me some lame excuse about how long the postal queues are. Needless to say I won't be ordering from them again. It's funny how ordering from the UK can be quicker than ordering local - especially given I haven't ever had to pay for postage when ordering from the UK.

I think I'll put down the extra delay to the xmas/new year break, and all the snow at the moment in the UK. Also I think it takes an extra day to get to Adelaide as it came via Melbourne, but you guys in Perth had it fly straight in.

All in all I'm happy that I got my stuff in tact. I'll order from both again, but just not expect the delivery times they quote. For both PBK and c r c they dispatched the items reasonably quickly, but then it was a bit of a lottery how long the delivery would take. Interestingly Parcel Force did reply to my email querying why it was stuck from the 31-> 6th, only to say only c r c could investigate. I emailed c r c also but they haven't replied at all. Prices great, delivery can be ok, customer service not ideal. But can take a bit of pain for the $$$ saved.

Got another two of my wiggle orders today.

One was placed just prior to christmas, one just after new years, both arrived today???

Anyway, doesn't worry me, particularly given the time of year, I have the goodies now!

Yes It must take longer to get to adelaide, I see theres a number of people in this thread who orderd their goods around the 4th and recieved them a week later. I orded mine on the 2nd and still no sign.

Greetings all,
Has anyone had any problems with deliveries from www.prendas.co.uk? In particular, items getting lost, or just taking a long time, ie 4 weeks+...?
I know there were postal strikes at both ends, and there was the Xmas/New Year rush, but still....
I have read elswhere on this forum that items ordered after Xmas have still been delivered within the standard 6-9 days from the usual suspects, (Wiggle, c r c...)
I have even had something delivered within 9 days from Korea ordered 30 Dec...
Starting to get cheeezed by the wait...
Anyone...???....
Thanks in advance....
Max...

I usually find Australia Post to be excellent. However, I just had a bad experience with Australia Post. I received 2 packages recently, one from Ribble and one from c r c. Ribble was received on 30/12 and carded (a card in the PO Box to let me know there was a package). I took in the card but they said there was no package

On 11/01 the c r c package was received and carded on the 12th. I went in with the card to pick up the c r c package and they found the Ribble package and brought it out. However, they then noticed the bar codes didn't match and went back to find the c r c package. I was glad to have both packages but disappointed that it was quicker for the Ribble package to travel from the UK to Australia than to be given to me after it had arrived.

Well I got an email apologising for the delay from c r c. Now if I hadn't been on this forum and been aware that others have ordered after me and been shipped. So I'm still not too happy about it. But they do still have gear that I want, so they are going to get tried again.

I ordered from c r c on the 28th and just received the items on the 13th January, they dispatched them on the 4th. Unfortunately one of them was wrong, they sent me a 31.8mm handlebar instead of a 25.4mm handlebar, so now I've got to see what their returns are like when it's their fault, postal from Australia. They invoiced me for the right part, which doesn't help.

Well FSA do make very very nice shallow drop handle bars in their Taiwan factory in unbeatable price. Like the alloy Omega model weighted 300g which around AUD$35 is 100% a steal, we should give them some credit on that.
A good road bike is like an art work so as a good fountain pen. Gears like the the nib may need replacement over time, however a good frame was made to last ages.

By Cannondale's own admission, there are better things to put on a bike that FSA, but if they're trying to keep the final product price down, then they have to I guess..
