I have spotted this on the old evil -bay,just some thoughts would be helpfull. Or is second hand always risky business !!!! Cheers all....

Caveat Emptor.

You could always organise the seller to take it to a bike shop for an assessment and pay the LBS for a written report.

I am always happy to buy second hand but maybe not sight unseen.

My first bike was second hand while I made sure I was happy to commit to an extent worthy of spending the money to upgrade.
