Old track forks

Postby powdahoz » Sat Aug 18, 2007 6:30 pm

Hello,

I'm looking for a set of forks for an old track frame. My attempts to find the originals to suit a frame of this era have been unsuccessful so I'm now looking at something with nice old lug work, with a double crown perhaps. Can anyone out there in bike land help me.

Cheers

keep an eye on this guy on ebay. He has nice old gear. I picked up an some unused cougar track forks from him for about $100 including postage.
These ones are nice

Hi, what era is the frame from? Depending on how old the frame is, I may be able to help.

Karen.

Hi there,

First off thanks for the feedback everyone. Much appreciated.
The frame is an old motor spares master sports frame. I have a few photos of it which I can't post here but am happy to PM people with links.
This particular frame is from the mid 50's I've been told.
