I just ordered a 800 premium bundle from chain reaction.

after much debate between the 500 v 800, i splashed the extra $$ for the 800.
I do a lot of mtb & thought the maps may be useful & liked the idea of the virtual partner feature for roadie training.

How much extra are the Aussie maps?
It's a bit warmer here than Scotland isn't it!

Those wall-mounted clamps for holding a front wheel when storing a bike, the Kwik Klamp, just saw that they have a special on, buy 6 or more and get 50% off (so $19.95 each). http://www.kwikklamp.com/

I use them for my recumbent trike, one for each front wheel and just pop the trike up on its rear wheel, line it up to the brackets, tap the wheels against each bracket to close the clamp around like a clamshell closing. Easy stuff and the trike becomes a wallflower. Hooks bolted to a wall don't work as easily.

Rebel Sport (nationwide in-stores & online) - official Le Coq Sportif Tour de France jerseys (yellow, green & polka-dot) all at %50 off, making them an even $50.

Note - price may not be marked down in store. I was in Canberra for work on Friday, and the local store there had them marked down with orange stickers at $49.99. Sadly, none in my size. But back home in Brisbane this weekend, I went & checked the Carindale store - they had them but still marked at $99.99. I asked them to scan it at the register, and it comes up as $49.99...

I bought myself an 'ironic mountains jersey'... ;) I figure if I wear it while doing hill repeats, the further embarrassment of being passed while wearing the red polka-dots will drive me harder... :)

Cheers,
Abby

Bicycle Express (not cycling express) are doing 10 packs of 16g threaded co2 cartridges (AT) $14.95

$8.65 flat rate shipping Australia wide, free shipping over $120, and if you are in Adelaide CBD and the stars align, they will sometimes send a staff member out to deliver your stuff. Same or next day delivery is very possible.

Good local bike shop embracing the online thing!

Maybe not 'cheap' - but cheaper than you'll find elsewhere (for the legitimate goods)... Wiggle currently have them on special (21% discount) for $68...

Was just at Rival Bikes ( www.rivalbikes.com.au ) in Wynnum and they've got some Cannondale Trail SL2's on sale for $750. Looks very well specc'd for that price. If I could convince my wife that I also needed MTB I'd get one myself... :(

Good one! The free delivery doesn't seem to work right now though. Is there a minimum? It doesn't say.

I was considering buying some stuff - you get free delivery over $50 and it stated that delivery was free.

I thought it was a bit cheeky that they offer 'priority picking' for $7 though!
