Nice, thanks. They also have some jerseys at $50 though in limited sizes. Worth a punt at that price.

Thanks for the heads-up. I just bought myself a Heart Beat Attack jersey in the celeste and some Black Torque cycling socks.

Good quality kit, well worth the $50 for a jersey (and $9 for socks, $20 for arm warmers and $70 for gilets)

Have a couple of jerseys, gilets and bib shorts from VeloOne as well as a set of arm warmers and more than a few pairs of socks, all really good quaility, can't fault them.

Sizing advice, their guide is accurate and follow their advice and size up with the gilet.

jersey or gilet?

I have 98cm chest, like race fit, depending on brand I am either M or L, with VeloOne I am L in jersey and XL in gilet.

You can always contact VeloOne, they are very quick to reply via the shop or facebook https://www.facebook.com/VeloOne/

Their bib shorts are wonderful, I was lucky, picked up a pair at an introductory price when they were a new line.

Anyone after a reasonable SS/fixed frameset? Larry are offloading what might be the last of their stock.

Or just levers + derailleurs for $610. Not sure I can justify upgrading my 10 sp to 11 sp though.

You don't need the levers for that upgrade. You can upgrade the firmware on 6770 levers to work with 11 speed

The POC glasses I was wearing yesterday were even fogging up when I was going at 40km/h. I had to stop and take them off, otherwise I had really reduced vision. When it warmed up a bit more they stopped fogging up.

On the topic of specials, Rapha Sydney was doing 60% off their already reduced prices. Picked up a $240 jersey at $95. Unfortunate is that everyone seems to be in there buying stuff at those prices, so you might struggle to find your size.
Scored a winter jacket for $191.00 in Melbourne on Saturday. Down from $Stupidity so I couldn't say no.
Well that worked out.

Got a call today, as the jacket was order in. Out of stock. It took two weeks to determine this...if I had bought on-line I would have had it. So Rapha gave me a code for the current, nicer colour that wasn't on sale for the sale price.

Big shouts to Rapha!

Or just use dishwashing liquid...works well without the $'s!
Does dishwashing liquid prevent fogging?

Sure does DaveQB. Can't claim the idea was mine as it is well known for skiers and snorkellers apparently. Tested the theory in both hot (Sunshine Coast) and cold (Snowy Mtns). Simply smear over both in and outside of lense and then rinse off lightly and let dry. Good to go.

Following up on the VeloOne stuff, pretty happy with it. I ordered 2x jerseys + 2x socks. Jerseys are a nice, tight race fit on me - i got medium and I'm ~185cm and 82kg. They're not super lightweight so they're probably not ideal as a hot summer kit, but otherwise very good.

socks are actually quite thick compared to the paper-thin defeets I've been wearing lately so they might actually be useful over winter.

quality is very good, great value.

Yup, the socks feel thick but they actually have a different material around your feet so you don't overheat in summer. So far, i've found it ok.

I did a dummy order and shipping is $15. Will probably stock up later on today. Prices are cheaper than the recent Rapha sale

I've bought from SportPursuit multiple times, and have been very happy. Just need to be aware that shipping is not quick - they usually wait until the 'sale' closes and then bulk order - but the dates for that are well noted for each one.

Have bought my TomTom GPS watch, Diadora cycling shoes, jerseys, knicks, etc... :-)

Yeah, I was going to mention this - the rapha stuff says it doesn't ship til mid march so don't order if you're in a rush...

Reid Cycles have some pretty good prices on road cycling shoes from brands FLR, Northwave and Shimano - between $27 - $60 and some at about 1/4 of the RRP. The catch... you guess it, limited sizes are available.

Small Disclosure: Reid Cycles advertise from time to time on BNA and this is not an advertisement, rather I just noticed this will browsing the shop.
