Has anyone spotted Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 C50 Clincher wheels going cheap? Or HED Jet 5 clinchers?

I know Cell a while back had Zipp 404 Firecrest clinchers going at $1899, but they no longer have them. I'm in the market for replacement wheels after an off on the weekend.

I've been looking around Wiggle and even with my discount, the cost is a bit painful. I'm also wary of the import duties for anything above $1000. I have some time to wait as the bike is in at the LBS getting checked over and some other repairs.

I was about to go ahead an order the Conti GP4000 deal from Wiggle, but I see they are folding tyres, I haven't used folding before, is there something I should know or are they the same as wire bead ??
Can someone shed some light onto this , probably basic, question .

No functional difference, as far as fitting them. Folding bead are simply lighter & easier to store.

Hi burto was this the deal with the 5 inner tubes and two tyres? Or the two tubes? as the deal with the two tubes only comes with colour tyres.

I've bought 2 sets from o/s both over $1K, first set I didn't know any better and neither did customs and got charged Duty/GST, second set I didn't and customs gave me all the numbers I needed for exemption. I'll check my emails and see if I can find details.

Can't find the relevant email, must of deleted it (it was a few years ago). Looking on customs website it's not clear what is or isn't exempt but for bicycle wheels it lists Tariff Item 87149200 and Stat code & unit 07 which should give you the exemtion.
