Questions about purchasing bicycles and parts
Pushys additional 15% off Profile Design and XLAB until the weekend.
Code AFC213 gives you free shipping over $50 (pre-discount).
Just ordered the H2 Aero Hydration system for $46 posted: http://www.pushys.com.au/profile-design ... ystem.html
Can't help with the first but most will for most parts once you hit a certain value.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

If you can handle being stuck on 10sp, Ribble have 2012 RS80 C50's for $455: http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... himwhfr389
11sp compat RS81 C35 for $680: http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... himwhfr396
the C35s come up as AU$813.87 for me and the C50s at $547.
where are you getting your wonderful exchange rate?
Make sure the destination is set to Australia. Comes up to $455 for me. I would buy them but where I live it is too windy to be useful.
The C35s would be a good compromise me thinks
Yes, if the destination is UK then they charge VAT at 18.5%.
Not exactly a special but... If you're super keen to get your hands on an 11sp 6870 Ultegra Di2 groupset (which I am) and have a spare $2800 (which I don't), then Planet Cycles (Woolloongabba, Brisbane) have three groupsets in stock.
As for me, I think I'll be waiting until they hit some online retailers, probably sometime in January.
BikeBug sent out a newsletter today with the 6870 Groupsets now being available. $1,899 or something from memory.
Being an aussie online shop, no GST or import duties tacked on either!
NB: Edited with correct price

That's pretty much 9070 Di2 pricing right there.
Chain Reaction Cycles tell me that this is the big one.
They are doing a discount of 10% off the regular price. So I am understanding that where a $100 item is selling normally for $80 - then the 10% discount is off the $80 (so would be $72). CRC tell me that the discount applies to everything in the entire shop excluding only the brand Endura - so means bikes and other gear that may be otherwise excluded is also on sale.
Click through to Chain Reaction Cycles and they will have the discount coupon on their site so that you can get the discount.
For orders over $225AUD.
Also excludes Garmin, Go Pro and Cube (apart from Endura already mentioned).
I will ask as I was told " we will be offering 10% off everything on our site. This offer will be across all products and all categories, with the exception of the Endura brand" which does not explain the order limit and limit on other brands.
I have the ChainReaction email. "Orders over $225 AUD". "The following brands are excluded from this promotion, Garmin, Endura, Go Pro & Cube".
Probikekit has an extra 10% off everything with the "national10au" coupon. Free shipping with orders > $60. http://www.probikekit.com.au/
Supercheapauto has Silkolene (Fuchs) 500gram Chain Lube reduced from $19.95 to $16.95. It's a wet lube with some adhesive agents to get the lube to stick to the chain. Great for wet weather riding: http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online ... pid=338127
how does this lube go vs purple extreme?
I was in Target today and noticed they had their spalding cycling gear on clearance for $25 a piece .

Not fancy but very cheap for the more practical gentlemen among you .
Feedback from CRC - for anyone interested in GoPro or Garmin - they suggest getting in contact with customer service, mention that you are enquiring with regard to their current promotion and are coming from BNA and they will see what they can do. While it doesn't necessarily mean a price match - if they have room to move then they will try and accommodate.
Garmin Edge 500 - Premium with HR and Cadence $280 - cheapest i've seen
Then again highlytuneathletes have them for $259
