Questions about purchasing bicycles and parts
Wiggle sent me a "ASSOS loyalty code", it's 15% off any ASSOS piece of clothing valid until 16-Dec-13. I don't have the cash to spend, so I'm guessing, first in gets it;
Code is; D99712FA2A4
*Edit* Reading the T&C's, it appears you can only buy something from their summer range; http://www.wiggle.com.au/assos-summer-range/assos/

Ribble have Shimano RS80 50mm wheels for $562 delivered a pair (after 10% discount)

I emailed and they confirmed the price.
Stand on my dog I cut off your head
I have never received a single reply from Ribble from dozens of attempts (and have even tried calling a number of times without sucess) so this, and their credit card security breach issues from some time back is all I have to go on.
Back to the fun, Wiggle have a DHB (cycle wear) promo - save %15 of DHB when spending $95 or more.
Runs until 12.12 and a general promo so no vouchers. See the DHB specials here
It says on their front page to use code DHB-15 for this promotion.
Not half bad
santacruzscott, looks like you are right, this is infact required. DHB-15
I have used Ribble numerous times and am very happy with them. I always use paypal with Ribble and across all the online stores if paypal is offered; so no concerns with them or other store CC concerns from the past.
I have also contacted them a few times and got a response from 2 of 3 attempts. One was to successful exchange a broken saddle (Selle San Marco Aspide rail snapped after ~2000km use ) under warranty though took two attempts to get the first reply. Second was only a couple of weeks ago as I followed up a partial filled order to see if the outstanding brake pads were being reordered.
FREE Knog Kabana bike lock on orders over 50 dollars - Today only with the BNA Deal-a-Day code.
refer to the top of the screen on BNA above.
Not a maximum security device but I have tried many types of lock over the years and the kabana is the most user-friendly.
It has soft silicone type cover and twists but does not coil. Much less likely than many to scratch your frame or ricochet into your (censored).

Epic Cycles in Brisbane have ‘Me Vaude Spray Pants II’ on sale at $95.00.
Not sure what the “Me” is but a web search did not reveal much. I did find plenty of references to ‘Vaude Spray Pants II’ which look the same as the 'Me ....' and at the above price, it seems to be a good deal.
I spotted at cash convertors today a learsports 8500 , has aluminium frame no paint , fancy wheels , L size road bike , trip computer , bit rough i.e flat bald tyres and rusty chain and needs detailing but is a complete bike , priced at $225.00. Very light bike to pickup though. I offered them $150 factoring in the repair costs but they said no .Bargain for someone ?
