Giant TCR C1Opportunity has just come up to buy one secondhand, low k's only nine months old. 20 speed Ultegra groupset for about $1400. Think I've already made my mind
Les
If it's the right size, go for it!

For that price, you'd be nuts not to have a damn good look over her.

Well, I did it. Size was right, went over the carbon and groupsetwith a fine tooth comb, wheels are true and took it for a ride of a few k's tonight. Bar small chips off the tips of a couple of teeth on the large chainring which had no effect on the shifting it rides very smooth, shifts are sharp. Not a scratch or scuff on the frame or fork. Think I may have got a reasonably good deal.
Nice score there Pushy, now get out there and give her a thrashing
Some piccies would be nice... Shaun ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Nice. Your bars on the Apollo look as crowded as mine
Andrew
Nice pick up on the Giant - good work!
I see the Apollo has clip in rocket launchers. Cool! Cheers, Graeme Think outside the double triangle.

Its been wet and windy over here, and someone did say that carbon dissolves in the rain I'm still a little apprehensive, there's got to be something wrong with it at that price, yet to find it tho. Rocket launchers?lol They are clips for the 2 Fenix L2Ds photon canons and below are the launchers for the 2 Ultrafire C2s, it gets dark out here in the West. They turn off the gas for the street lights after dark. Les
You got gas in Freo? Luxury!!!!
Down here in Spearwood we have an urchin standin on corner with a tallow candle. And when the moon's eclipsed, they even light their candles .... Think outside the double triangle.
