New fork

Just picked up a new fork for the bike. Giants price for the replacement fork for the TCR was close to $500. I liked the look of http://www.pro-lite.net/content/detail/giavanni.htm better and was $150 down from 300

If the driver of the vehicle that hit you is paying the bill I'd insist on the original fork, regardless of cost.

Absolutely right, but could not resist such a saving. Depending on the outcome of the police report (aportioning blame) I will quite likely get the TCR fork and keep the pro-lite fork for the Apollo.
As for which fork is better than another? Its anyone's guess, without any scientific standards for comparison, I'm basing my selection on appeal alone.
