Kathmandu cycling

Are kathmandu bicycle clothes and acessories worth getting or are they over priced and better off going for actual bike companies???I want to get the kahtmandu bicycle gloves they look really good retial for 60 but i can gte for 30...worth getting,gloves are in the kathmandu site on page 35 in products....

From what I've seen, the clothing is generally good quality but over-priced at full retail (as are just about all bike specific clothing brands, I might add). I'm very happy with the clothing I've bought from them before when on sale.

$30 for cycling gloves is about right, so check the stitching and buy them if they pass the test.

I'd agree with Graeme. The clothing when on sale is a pretty decent price but retail is a bit pricey. The accessories on the other hand seem very over-priced. You can get the exact same ones (with a different brand name) on Ebay or DealExtreme for a much better price.

Another good place to look for gloves is Bunnings. Some safety/work gloves stack up pretty well as cycling gloves as far as protection for a good price goes.
