Wear is quite a problem if u use zeros, and have them adjusted to allow no float. After 5000km or so the no float ends up sloppy, with a combination of both rotational float, and rocking (instability) due to wear of the spring. Not really much of an issue to those who run a fair degree off float however..,

When my new cleats arrive, I'm off to go get a bike fit done. I've got the fore/aft adapter kit which I'll have mounted already prior to going to the fit. I'll be going to see Damian Oldmeadow who I hope will take into account my metatarsal bursitis and move my cleats back away from forefeet area!
