Group Buy - Stainless Gear Inner Cables

***I've run this idea by Christopher, & he's happy for me to proceed***

I'm currently looking to get new inner gear cables for my bikes, and thought it would also be good to have some spare in to tool box... so thought I might buy 10 maybe... but, as I'm sure your all aware, these are sold as singles or as boxes of 100 generally.
So, I thought I would see if there was interest in a group buy where I would buy a box of 100 (Jagwire Slick Stainless 1.1mm x 2100mm Sram/Shimano compatible) and distribute them.

Cost will be $2 each plus local post which I have estimated at $1.20 for up to about 5 cables (TBC) in an A5 envelope with a piece of cardbaord for protection.
10 or more cables will include free post.

For comparison, my LBS charges $9.95 per single SRAM SS inner, and Ribble charges (when they have stock) 1.99GBP (about $2.59) and discounted 1.59GBP (about $2.07) plus post.

So firstly, I'd like to see if there is any interest. Please post below with how may you would like.
At this time this is obligation free, but I would appreciate only serious interest.

BTW, I'm not looking to have all 100 spoken for, just a decent amount (40-50min maybe) and I will pull the trigger. From order I anticipate two weeks to delivery, at which time I will contact those interested for payment & delivery address.

BFG, not at the moment (I don't change brake cables as often a gear cables), but if this goes well, I can't see a reason not to in the future.

Wow! I thought this would be popular, but I'm a bit blown away.
If there's interest for another 40 (150 total) I'll double my order, I don't want anyone to miss out.

Update: Firstly, just to be clear, I have no inside connections, i'm just a punter who like to scour the net for the best deal. The order was made last Wednesday from a website I have purchased from a few times in the past with no issue. Yesterday I received an email from them stating:

...I really apologize about this accidental mistake. Your order item is not in-stock. We have tried to keep the stock as much as possible.
However we are selling various channel every day. Sometimes we cannot expect the daily sales quantity for each item.
Last few days, we have tried to find the item for you from our partner stores. But they does not have this, either.
Please forgive our mistake....

So, after looking around for another supplier, I have finally found and ordered a another box of cables.
I'm optimistic of these will arrive.

Will update when I get the shipping notification.

Update: Finally got a shipping notification.
Apparently it was shipped two days ago (11th July) with USPS and we have an estimated arrival date of 3rd August!
Oh well... at least their on their way!

OK... cables arrived this morning:

I had to change brands after the initial stuff around. These are XLC Stainless Steel 1.1mm x 2000mm Shimano/SRAm compatible shift cables.
So, as previously mentioned, no obligation (especially as brand has changed), but I will now PM the first 9 people who put their name down. If any choose not to take them I will continue down the list (I think there is about 12?).
