Hey guys,
Just seen a few bikes on websites like aliexpress and wondering. Are the components real?
I'm not interested in this but this is just an example
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Yeti-Big ... 40813.html
Would this really have a genuine fox fork and have genuing components?
Thanks

Is the Deal too good to be true?
What do you think?

Bikes on aliexpress are either really terrible, or don't exist - just lifts of pictures and descriptions from ebay listings, and occasionally from actual vendor websites.
Plenty of more reliable chinese vendors on ebay, but i'd steer clear of full bikes. Some of the CF frames are apparently quite usable.

That particular bike is made of "aluminum carbon"!
It's not every day you find a bike made of that exotic material.
I'd skip that bike and go for the "Colnago Ferrari" TANDEM MTB, which weighs 12kg.

My bike blog. Long on rumination, rambling and opinion. Why let facts ruin everything?
