29'er wheel costs

Hi,
I'm looking at costing some second hand 29er wheels to build up a Surly Ogre.

These would be to use until I can afford some custom jobs with dyno hub etc.

I'm wanting a pair that I wont lose too much money on if I can keep them in the same condition as I buy them in the short term
using them onroad only

So far I've found some Bontrager Mustang 29er wheels that have been taken off a brand new Trek Superfly AL Elite (2013 model).
He's after $400.
I understand they have 210 rotors and Big Apple 2.35 wide tyres.

Specs: Bontrager sealed cartridge bearing, 15mm aluminium axle front hub; Bontrager sealed cartridge bearing, aluminium axle rear hub w/Bontrager Mustang 32-hole Tubeless Ready disc rims

Opinions/suggestions welcome.

I'm happy to keep looking as I have yet to buy my frame

It would be nice to know how they compare to the Surly complete build spec 29" Ogre wheels:

Hubs Shimano Deore Disc, Model M529. 32h. QR. Black
Spokes 14g DT Swiss spokes, Strong like ox
Rims Alex Adventurer, 700c. 32-hole. Black w/machined sidewalls

compare with regards to quality, weight etc and not necessarily price.

Update,
I've done some net searching and found some bad comments on the bearings of the bontrager hubs.
As well the disks dont appear to be a compatible size.
I wont be going in that direction.

I think I'm going to just spend some more time thinking about exactly what wheels I'd like to end up with and just head in
that direction.
At this stage I'm looking definitely at a dynamo hub.
Either SP or Son28 disk compatible.
Sapim CX-Ray spokes
Velocity Dyad rims.

Basically a mirror of my Moultons build but 29" instead of 20"

Still scratching my head over going the whole hog and getting a Rohloff or not.

I'll likely get wheelbuilder.com to do the build as they did a great job of my Moultons wheels with fantastic communication
and speedy turn around.

Just sent an email to wheelbuilder.com requesting a quote on building the two wheels.
The basic spec being I supply the hubs:
1 Shutter Precision PD-8 disk brake front dynamo hub

Got the last one from Amazon but currently out of stock.

The quote will be for them to supply:
CX-Ray Spokes x 72 + three of each size required for spares.

Labour and shipping
