Giant CypressDXW or Mongoose Crossway300 - which is better?

I'm looking to purchase one of these ladies bikes from a store, obviously servicing etc is the same I'm just not sure which one to get. I want mudguards so will have to spend some more on the Giant.

I don't do a lot of riding so am happy with a cheaper bike however would still like some comfort which is why I've gone with these two. I like the idea of suspension however don't know how practical this is.
