Hi,
Anyone tried BBB replacement brake pads (for caliper brakes)? If so how have you found them?
I'm running pre-2000 Campag brakes so the pads options are getting scarcer and this is one of the options.
Cheers

Re: BBB rim brake pads - experiences?I'd remove the pad holders, so that you can use anything in there.
Call it a sacrilege if you like, but I'm using some of these in mine: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=46437 They don't melt in the rain, unlike the original pads... And they also stop better. volutamus scandemus
Re: BBB rim brake pads - experiences?Remove the pad holders!
I can get the Koolstop dual compound pads to fit my pre-2000 brake shoes at SJS Cycles in the UK. I am leaning towards giving them a go, but I came across the BBB ones and becase they are cheap I wondered what they might be like. Disco brakes do some inexpensive pads too. The original Campag pads lasted an age but the latest Campag set have worn down much quicker, which I've put down to the greater leverage/force that comes through the Ultrashift levers I'm using these days (or maybe I'm just riding more or the compound has changed.....
