Depends what you mean by similar?
I run Durano plus on one bike - they are very robust, and roll and corner much better than Marathon plus ; never had a puncture with either tyre (lots of pinch flats with the Durano's though - operator error )
The Marathon Plus last a looooong time - I reckon 10k+ km on average v's 3k for the Durano.....
Hope that helps?

In detailed response, I am looking for a tyre that is similar in size, so they fit on my bike with the same fork and frame, but I want something with treads.

http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/b ... ths-29245/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Tread pattern matters, even on the road: The importance of tread pattern is no surprise to the off-road world but common wisdom says it's a non-factor on the road, where slick treads are assumed to deliver the greatest surface contact with the ground and thus, the best grip. However, asphalt is far from a perfect – or even consistent – material. Certain tread designs can provide a measureable mechanical adhesion to the ground.

I don't think any other tyres last as long as the Marathons. But that wasn't the OP's question.jasonc wrote:randonneur does not last as long as the schwalbe. had both.

Not my experience. 14000+kms from 1.75 Randonneur Cross They laugh at bindiis and glass.jasonc wrote:randonneur does not last as long as the schwalbe. had both.HappyHumber wrote:Apparently available in a 700x28... Vittoria Randonneur. Might fit if you're lucky - otherwise flog 'em along.
Try the Vittoria Randonneur Cross, available in 28mm. Treaded tyres are sub-optimal for road riding however. Be aware of this when making your choice, and I personally think in a tyre as narrow as 23mm the traction loss from tread could become a nasty handicap.
