Colnago Ace (2013), steerer material?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether the fork on the Colnago Ace have an alloy steerer? or is it full carbon?

Yeah thats what confuses me, because when I look at the 2013 spec from wiggle it just says Carbon.

Hi MadCow,
Going back a way now but they had both styles at one time depending on model. They also made them in two diameters.
Some that I saw appeard to have an ally sleeve around as in a band. But it been a while......

Given that the Colnago Ace is at the lower end (read, less expensive) of all things Colnago, I would say that has an alloy steerer for the fork.
I wouldn't let that bother you though, as its still a good bike, and one I have my eye on as my next bike, as I'm after a sportive style bike.
